General Information
Introduction
Equity Afia is a sustainable, integrated health model that uses franchising principles to train and monitor a network of Medical-Entrepreneurs to provide standardized, quality, and affordable healthcare services throughout Kenya. The goal of Equity Afia is to ensure sustained improvement of the health and well-being of Kenyans by increasing access to and utilization of quality, affordable and standardized healthcare. We have 90 medical centers currently and areseeking to expand geographically.To achieve this strategic intent, Equity Afia intends to roll out outpatient clinics across the country within a short period of time. Towards this, it is proposed to engage design and build approach in the development and establishment of the clinics. This is meant to achieve an effective and efficient roll out plan.It is therefore important that the contractors that will be engaged display financial and technical capabilities to simultaneously handle multiple projects in widespread geographical regions. This prequalification process seeks to establish the capacity of potential suppliers and contractors to be engaged in the establishment of the clinics. Critical technical capabilities include Project management, architectural, MEP services as well as structural engineering support as and when the need arises.
The scope of this EOI targets fit-out contractors with inhouse capacity and presence in all the regions in the country to perform all fit-out scope of works which include civil and structural, electrical, and mechanical services requirements for new and refurbishment projects as shall be dictated by the site and more specifically detailed in the Bills of Quantities.
It is the purpose of this Expression of interest (EOI) to solicit responses from qualified contractors to fulfil these expectations and requirements.
REGISTRATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EOI
All bidders willing to be invited to receive the EOI request should first register through the email address info@equityafia.co.ke by 22nd January 2024, not later than Time 1700hrs. Registration received beyond this time will not be accepted.
Equity Afia may, at her discretion, extend the deadline for the registration. However, potential bidders are advised to stick to the timelines set out above.
